We frequently get questions about why our memory foam sleeps cooler than traditional memory foams. There are a few reasons for that, including our proprietary Comfort Matrix Construction™, exclusive to our Healthy Foundations 10″ Memory Foam Mattress.
First, our unique boutique memory foam, with its open cell structure, improves air flow by 95% and dissipates heat and moisture three times faster than traditional memory foam. Both of our layers of memory foam — 4 lb density on top, followed by a firmer 5 lb density underneath–are made of this revolutionary memory foam. Second, we have two layers of our high density (2.3 lb) airflow top configuration base foam which also contributes to our mattress sleeping cooler than traditional memory foam mattresses. Finally, the entire mattress is encased in a CoolMax™ cover, further contributing to a cool, comfortable sleep experience.
Does this really work to keep our memory foam cooler? Based on our return data and our reviews, it does. Even though our 365-day return policy is quick and easy (it’s actually a pick-up, not a return), only 1/2 of 1% of our returns are for heat.
