Comparison of Healthy Foundations Topper Pad to the True Sleeper Pad

I've been asked about how the Healthy Foundations pad compares to the True Sleeper pad that has popped up on Infomercials. First, in making this comparison, I want to say that I haven't seen the True Sleeper - I've only seen their Infomercial information and the information they have on their website. But based on this information I do have some points of comparison by which I believe the Healthy Foundations memory foam pad is a better value than the True Sleeper.

The True Sleeper may be a good pad, but I don't believe it is a good value compared to our topper. That is because our topper is a denser pad than the True Sleeper (the Healthy Foundations topper is a 4 lb. memory foam and the True Sleeper is only a 3 lb. memory foam) but actually costs less than the True Sleeper. This just isn't right to pay more for a lower density pad. While density only tells you so much about the feel of a foam pad, it does tell you something about the raw costs of the pad. A denser foam costs more to manufacture, and so a less dense foam should cost a consumer less than a denser foam. But here the less dense foam, the True Sleeper, actually costs you more than our denser topper. I'm guessing that this is due to the high marketing costs the True Sleeper people incur. But the bottom line is that you shouldn't pay more for a less dense pad.

The Healthy Foundations pad also comes with a 10 year warranty. While warranty problems don't come up very often, it is nice a solid warranty just in case.
