Memory Foam Mattresses: Three Rules to Follow Before You Buy

Thinking about a memory foam mattress?  Maybe you’d like to buy a memory foam mattress but you’re not sure if you will like it.  How can you tell if a memory foam mattress is right for you?  I’d like to share three simple rules you can follow to make sure a memory foam mattress is right for you.

How to Buy a Memory Foam Mattress offers a few tips for buying a memory foam mattress, but these three rules will ensure you have a successful memory foam mattress buying experience.  Read on…

1.  Only buy from a memory foam mattress retailer that is monitored by third parties like Shopping.com and the Better Business Bureau.  This will ensure you can trust the company to do what it says it will.

2.  Only buy from a memory foam mattress retailer that will let you try your memory foam mattress in your own home for an extended period (at least 180 days).

3.  Only buy from a memory foam mattress retailer that has a money-back guarantee.  Do not accept a store credit or “comfort” guarantee, which is the same thing as a store credit.  Either of those could leave you out a lot of money and still without a memory foam mattress that you love.

Just following these three simple rules will make your memory foam mattress shopping experience safe and successful.  At Healthy Foundations, we sell memory foam, but we want you to be as informed about your mattress choices as possible.  In addition to our Guide to Memory Foam, check out our guides for air beds and latex mattresses.
