Memory Foam Mattresses: How to Buy One You Will Love!

Memory foam mattresses are gaining popularity as more and more people learn about their incredible comfort and benefits.  So how do you know if you’ll like a memory foam mattress?  How do you know if you are choosing one you’ll love?

The article How to buy a memory foam mattress caught my eye.  When I clicked to it and saw a You Tube Video from a mattress retail manager, I thought this was a topic that needs to be addressed clearly.

Memory foam mattresses are temperature sensitive.  This means that they use your body’s heat to gently mold to the contours of your body.  This reduces pressure points and eliminates the need to toss and turn to get comfortable.  Does this automatically mean a memory foam mattress is right for you?  Actually, it doesn’t.

The only way to really buy a memory foam mattress that you’ll love is to be able to try it in your home for an extended period.  I recommend at least 180 days.  If you don’t like it, you should be able to get your money back with just a small return fee ($75 or less).  Don’t accept a store credit or comfort guarantee (same thing as a store credit).  If you do, you could be out a lot of money and still not have a memory foam mattress you love.

At Healthy Foundations, we want you to be as informed about your mattress choices as possible.  That is why we wrote our mattress buyer’s guides.  Check out our buyer’s guides for memory foam, air beds, and natural latex mattresses.
