About 9 years ago I wrote a whole web site on how to create a web business. I got fed up with what I heard from the gurus that the web was just another form of advertising, and that a web business is all about marketing.
But this wasn’t my experience. I didn’t have a background as a marketer — I didn’t even have a background as a retailer.
Instead what I brought to the table was my ability to really provide in-depth information that other sites didn’t provide. And I worked hard at learning how to design a site that would be really usable and people could easily both find the information they were looking for and, if they liked, buy.
Well I’ve had the site out for all this time, and I finally decided to put in the time to update it and share with people the latest ways I go about doing my web business.
I’ve added not only more content, but also comment sections at the bottom so people can add their two cents.
