Radiation Exposure from CT Scans Is Higher Than Expected

Many of us have seen the recent news reports about the latest studies warning us that the cancer risk from Computerized Tomagraphy (CT) Radiation is higher than previously thought.  This leads researchers to believe CT scans can possibly lead to an increased number of cases of radiation-related cancer and deaths radiation-related cancer.

Hangover Impairs Judgment in Young Adults

I found this interesting article about how, even after the alcohol is out of a one’s system, it still causes impairment.  The study was done in a test facility with young adults between the ages of 21 and 33 (most likely age to overindulge) and was done with alcohol and placebos.  The researchers determined blood alcohol levels, sleep patterns, and the ability to think quickly over a long period of time.
