My Daughter's New Website to Help Save the Giant Pandas

My daughter just turned 5, and for awhile now I've been kidding her that it is high time she stop lollygagging around and start her own business. All that playing around has a place, I told her, but now that she is 5 it is time for her to start earning her keep.

Well, just this week she took me up on my tease - she decided she wanted to start a website about her favorite animal, the Giant Panda. She wants to both tell people about the Giant Panda, but she wanted to also teach them what they could do to help save the Giant Panda since they are an endangered species.

So we talked about it, and came up with a business idea. She would do a blog about Pandas (of course her first question was "What is a blog?", but now she is telling everyone "I have a Blog!"), and as part of the Blog she would sell Panda t-shirts, mugs, etc. that have Panda drawing of her own design. We are hoping to pull this off through Cafe Press, and her idea is to take 1/2 of any profits and donate them to the Pandas (and spend the other 1/2 at stores - she is all about helping the economy too).
